Justin Jefferson is breaking records, this time surpassing a legendary member of the Minnesota Vikings. On Thursday night, the 23-year-old wide out overtook Hall of Fame pass catcher Randy Moss for a player’s first three seasons with the most receiving yards. With 4,109 career yards going into Minnesota’s 33-26 victory over the New England Patriots, Jefferson surpassed Moss’ three-year mark in the second quarter. After the game, Jefferson informed reporters that the accomplishment meant a lot. “It indicates that I’m getting closer to achieving the Hall of Fame. But I’m going to keep working and give this squad my all in order to create plays. I’d sacrifice anything for this squad because I adore it.” With 5:08 left in the first half, Jefferson passed Moss with an incredible 37-yard catch, giving him 77 yards overall. He ended with nine receptions for 139 yards and a score as the Vikings overcame their loss from the previous week.
