Since injuring his ACL during Thanksgiving last year, Tre’Davious White becomes active again

The Buffalo Bills will get their finest cornerback back for a game against the Detroit Lions to open the first John Madden Thanksgiving Celebration, and they already have a top-five scoring defense and a 7-3 record. For the first time this season, Tre’Davious White will play. His full-circle comeback comes a year after he tore his ACL playing against the New Orleans Saints on Thanksgiving. White was activated at the beginning of November after spending the most of the season on the reserve/physically unable to perform list, but it took him almost the whole month to battle his way back onto the field. White’s comeback is now a godsend the Bills will rely on as they strive to win the AFC East for a third consecutive season. It was a luxury Buffalo (7-3) could afford as the team pushed its way to a tie for the second-best record in the AFC.
