When Justin Jefferson said in July that he would be the top wide receiver in the NFL after the 2022 season, he was taking a risk. Following an outstanding performance in Buffalo on Sunday, the Vikings wide receiver backed up that audacious offseason remark and grinned broadly when asked in Week 10 whether he believed it was the truth. After a thrilling 33-30 overtime victory over the Bills, Jefferson told FOX Sports, “Of course. I believe I stated that today.” In Minnesota’s unlikely victory in Buffalo, Jefferson hauled in 10 passes for a career-high 193 receiving yards and two scores. According to NFL Research statistics, it was Jefferson’s 20th game in his career with 100 or more receiving yards, breaking a tie with Odell Beckham and Hall of Famer Randy Moss for the most by any player in his first three seasons.
