In the 28-25 victory over the Lions on Thursday, linebacker Von Miller of the Bills injured his knee and was later declared out. Miller’s injury has been initially identified as a knee sprain. Miller will lose some time but will also get an MRI on Friday to confirm the diagnosis.
In his post-game press conference, head coach Sean McDermott informed the media that he had no updates. Miller was hurt after his leg got tangled beneath a Detroit offensive lineman with little over two minutes left in the half. He was carried away after leaving the medical tent even though he was able to walk to the sidelines on his own. At the time of his injury, the eight-time Pro Bowler had made one tackle throughout the contest. After joining Buffalo in the offseason, Miller has amassed eight sacks and a forced fumble this season.
