New quarterback Russell Wilson thinks this year’s team is ready to win another Super Bowl, seven years after the Broncos last did it. And that was the fundamental driver for his visit to Denver. Wilson stated on Friday that moving to Denver and joining the club with so many fantastic teammates and a top-notch coaching staff has been a blessing in and of itself.
“I added, though, that I wanted to make sure I went to a city that wanted to win once the trade was set to take place. I want to be sure I join a squad that is competitive. And I want to visit a place where winning is a way of life. And in Denver, all three of those items were checked off the list, so I believe we have a shot.” With Wilson, the Broncos might win a fourth Super Bowl title, bringing their total to three.
