Hungarian Ladies Open
The Hungarian Ladies Open is also known as the Budapest Grand Prix, and it was first played in 1993. It was then taken off the schedule in 1994 and 1995 before returning in 1996 until 2014, when it went on a two-year hiatus. It returned to the ITF in 2016 and then the WTA Tour brought it back as an International tournament in 2016, and it is played on outdoor clay courts.

How To Bet On Women’s Tennis
When you’re betting on tennis, there are two main ways to bet: to predict the outright winner of the tournament and the winner of each individual matchup. Take note of the odds next to each player’s name and if the odds show a minus sign, that’s how much you would bet to win $100. If the odds show a plus sign, that’s the amount you would win if you bet $100. You can also find spread betting options, which allows you to bet on who will win the match and by how much. For example, it could be one player -2.5 games, which means they would have to win by three games or more to cover the spread.
Prize Money and Points Breakdown
The points breakdown are the same for the singles and doubles draws: 280 points for the winners, 180 for the finals, 110 for the semifinals and 60 for the quarterfinals. Then, it is one point for the round of 16 on the doubles side, which is where that ends. It is 30 points for that round for singles, then one for the round of 16, 18 for the final qualifier, 14 for the third qualifier, 10 for the second qualifier and one for the first.
In terms of prize money, the singles champion gets $43,000, then it is $21,000 for the finals, $11,300 for the semifinals, $5,900 for the quarterfinals, $3,310 for the round of 16, $1,925 for the round of 32, $730 for the second qualifier and $530 for the first qualifier. In doubles, the winners get $12,300, then it is $6,400 for the finalists, $3,435 for the semifinals, $1,820 for the quarterfinals and $960 for the round of 16.

There is no confirmed list as of yet, but there is a Premier 5 tournament held on the same week in Dubai, so many of the top players in the world will be there.
Champion
The singles winner in 2016 was Elitsa Kostova of Bulgaria, who won her lone title of the 2016 ITF Season with a straight-sets win over countrywoman Viktoriya Tomova. Only two women have won this tournament more than once: Anna Smashnova of Israel and Agnes Szavay of Hungary, who both won twice.
The doubles title was won by Ema Burgic Burko of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Spain’s Georgina Garcia Perez, who defeated the Czech Republic team of Lenka Kuncikova and Karolina Stuchla in three sets. No team has won this event more than once, but Janette Husarova of Slovakia won it four times with four different partners.
