The Oakland Raiders (+4) aren’t traveling far to battle the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium. The Thursday Night Football matchup kicks off at 8:20 p.m. ET and fans can tune in to the action on FOX.

The Raiders head into this Thursday matchup as the underdog and they’re currently getting 4 points. The Raiders are also receiving +140 moneyline odds while the 49ers are -160. It appears that there will probably be some good live betting opportunities for this showdown, and oddsmakers have set the over/under (O/U) at 47.5 points.

The game’s total has been driven higher after opening at 47. The original spread (-4) has stayed firm.

San Francisco narrowly fell 18-15 to Arizona a week ago. The defensive secondary let the Cardinals air it out for 252 yards and two touchdowns. Larry Fitzgerald had a good outing for Arizona, accounting for 102 yards on eight catches. For San Francisco, C.J. Beathard completed 14-of-28 passes for 190 yards and one touchdown. Matt Breida (42 yards on 16 rush attempts) mounted the ground game in the defeat while Kendrick Bourne (seven receptions, 71 yards) and George Kittle (five catches, 57 yards) led the pass-catching attack.

Oakland has run the ball on 38.3 percent of its offensive possessions this year while San Francisco has an overall rush percentage of 46.3 percent. The Raiders have produced 94.0 rush yards per game and have four touchdowns via handoffs this year. The Niners are putting up 133.6 rush yards per game and have four total rushing TDs.

If the numbers so far this season are any indication, then it appears the Niners ought to have the edge when it comes to effectiveness in the ground game. Their backfield has generated 4.8 yards per carry while their defense has allowed 4.0 YPC to opponents. The Raiders have tallied 4.1 yards per carry while allowing a YPC of 4.9 to opponents.
