Auburn narrowly suffered a 22-21 defeat to LSU. The defense allowed the Tigers to rush for 121 yards on 42 attempts, along with one rushing TD. Justin Jefferson had a productive outing in the win, recording 97 yards on five catches for LSU. For Auburn, Jarrett Stidham completed 16-of-28 passes for 198 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. JaTarvious Whitlow (104 rushing yards on 22 attempts, one TD) spearheaded the running game while Ryan Davis (three receptions, 23 yards) and Darius Slayton (three catches, 33 yards, one TD) led the pass-catching corps in the loss.
