The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets just earned a 28-26 win over North Carolina State. The team’s defense allowed the Wolfpack to rush for 230 yards on 49 attempts, including two rush TDs. Jordan Houston had a good showing in the loss, recording 89 rushing yards on 16 attempts for North Carolina State. For Georgia Tech, James Graham completed seven-of-15 passes for 129 yards and three touchdowns. Jordan Mason (141 rushing yards on 22 attempts) and the signal-caller Graham (112 yards on 14 carries, one TD) spearheaded the ground attack in the win while Ahmarean Brown (two receptions, 28 yards, two TDs) and Malachi Carter (two catches, 74 yards) led the pass-catching corps.
Georgia’s run the ball on 57.5 percent of its offensive possessions this year while Georgia Tech has an overall rush percentage of 62.4 percent. The Bulldogs have rushed for 198.3 yards per game and have 18 scores via handoffs this year. The Yellow Jackets are averaging 157.3 rushing yards per game and have 12 total rush TDs.
