Auburn just earned a 52-0 win over Samford. The defensive unit held its territory in the victory, restricting the Bulldogs to only 63 passing yards and 51 rushing yards. Jay Stanton was a bright spot in the loss for Samford, recording eight yards on one catch. As a group, the Tigers collectively completed 22-of-32 passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns. Bo Nix went 15-for-23 for 150 yards and one touchdown while Cord Sandberg was five-of-seven for 84 yards and two touchdowns. Shaun Shivers (55 yards on nine rush attempts, one TD) spearheaded the running game as Williams (four receptions, 45 yards) and Anthony Schwartz (four catches, 25 yards) led the pass-catching corps in the win.
