Diontae Johnson was a bright spot in the loss for Toledo, posting 97 yards and a score on two catches. For Buffalo, Tyree Jackson completed 25-of-46 passes for 326 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. Jaret Patterson (90 yards on 20 rush attempts, two TDs) and Kevin Marks (49 yards on 15 carries) mounted the ground game in the win while K.J. Osborn (seven receptions, 90 yards) and Tyler Mabry (six catches, 48 yards) led the receiving corps.
