The No. 1 Clemson Tigers and Syracuse Orange will face off indoors at the Carrier Dome. The game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET and ABC has the TV rights.

Betting Preview: Clemson Tigers at Syracuse Orange

Clemson is the heavy road favorite and is currently giving up 28 points to Syracuse. Vegas has placed the over/under (O/U) at 58.5 points, and if one squad catches a lucky break early, it’ll likely produce a reasonable betting opportunity in-game.

The betting odds have moved slightly from where they initially opened. The line opened at 26 and the game’s O/U was originally placed at 58.

Moe Neal (47 yards on 12 rush attempts) led the running game as Trishton Jackson (seven receptions, 157 yards, two TDs) led the pass-catching attack in the loss.

Clemson has run the ball on 55.8 percent of its offensive possessions this year while Syracuse has a rush percentage of 49 percent. The Tigers have produced 266 rush yards per game and have seven scores on the ground this year. The Orange are putting up 131 rush yards per game and have three total rushing TDs.

Judging by the early season results, it seems like the Tigers could own the advantage in all aspects of the ground game. Their running backs has generated 6.5 yards per carry while the defense is allowing a YPC of 2.9 to opponents. The Orange have recorded 3.6 yards per carry and allowed 4.4 YPC to opponents.
