The Grand Canyon Antelopes (14-9, 7-3 WAC) will be at the Swinney Recreation Center to go head-to-head with the UMKC Kangaroos (8-16, 3-6 WAC) in a WAC matchup. Action starts at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, February 14, 2019.

Grand Canyon Antelopes at UMKC Kangaroos ATS Odds

Both teams were beaten in their last contest. The Kangaroos fell to the California Baptist Lancers, 70-60, while the Antelopes lost a tough one against the New Mexico State Aggies, 67-64.

Grand Canyon did a great job of converting from the charity stripe (12-16; 75.0 percent) while UMKC had a better effective field goal percentage (0.510 vs. 0.500). Rob Whitfield played well for UMKC with 17 points. Meanwhile, Grand Canyon was lifted by Michael Finke, who contributed 16 points and five assists.

In their first matchup this year, Trey Drechsel led the Antelopes to a 78-50 win. He notched a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Grand Canyon made good use of their 27 trips to the free throw line, converting on 23 of them (85.2 percent). UMKC, on the other hand, was just 6-9 (66.7 percent).

The offense of UMKC (281st in the nation with an offensive efficiency of 100.4) will face off against the stingy defense of Grand Canyon (76th in the NCAA with a defensive efficiency of 97.6). The Antelopes should have the advantage on that end of the court.
