Fedor Emelianenko vs. Matt Mitrione – Heavyweight
Emelianenko (36-4, 1 NC) retired in 2012, but came back for a submission win over Singh Jaideep in December 2015, and then a controversial majority decision over Fabio Maldonado in June. Mitrione (11-5) has knockout wins over Thompson and Carl Seumanutafa since coming to Bellator, and he is dangerous because he fought three times in 2016. Emelianenko fought once and did not look good, especially early. Emelianenko will go down as one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time in any division (and arguably he greatest heavyweight to ever fight), but he might simply be past his best, or past what he needs to be to beat Mitrione, unless he can get him to the mat.

Cheick Kongo vs. Oli Thompson – Heavyweight
Kongo (25-10-2) has won three straight, including a majority decision over Tony Johnson in September, while Thompson (17-9) had a five-fight win streak brought to a halt by Mitrione in July. Thompson is a former strongman, but he has six submission wins to his credit and if the fight goes to the mat, Kongo could be in a lot of trouble. That being said, Kongo is one of the toughest fighters in the world and it takes a lot to stop him, and Kongo, who won the Season 9 Tournament, will find a way to pull this one out as well.

Adam Piccolotti vs. Brent Primus – Lightweight
A battle of two undefeated fighters might turn out to be the best match on the card as Piccolotti (9-0) takes on Primus (7-0), and both are black belts in Brazilian ji-jitsu, which means things could get very interesting if the fight goes to the mat. The edge could go to the fighter that has the best striking, and Piccolotti has two knockout wins to one for Primus, who can definitely handle himself in the striking exchanges. There is a lot at stake in this intriguing lightweight bout, but give the slightest of edges to Piccolotti.
