Le’Veon Bell will make his professional boxing debut on October 29 when he takes on veteran UFC middleweight Uriah Hall as part of the undercard of the Jake Paul-Anderson Silva Most Valuable Promotions pay-per-view, almost a month after knocking out another former NFL running back in an exhibition. The event will be held at Glendale, Arizona’s Desert Diamond Arena.
In a news release, Bell said, “I immediately said yes when Most Valuable Promotions asked me to participate in the Paul-Silva pay-per-view and I didn’t care who the opponent was. Uriah Hall will feel my striking strength and submit like he’s been taken down. He doesn’t have my build.”
On September 10, Bell knocked out Adrian Peterson in the fifth round, fulfilling his July declaration that he will devote his attention to boxing and forgo his participation in the NFL this season. In a four-round cruiserweight match contracted at 195 pounds, he will now compete for the first time as a professional against Hall, who is also making his pro boxing debut.
