Even if Ezekiel Elliott’s output has declined, his deal still tops the list for NFL running backs. Elliott’s deal does not include any further guaranteed money after the upcoming 2022 season, raising concerns that this might be his final season with the Cowboys. Elliott, who is preparing for his sixth NFL season in Dallas, isn’t stressing about any of it. Dallas selected him in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Elliott remarked on Wednesday, “I believe it is a significant season, but I think you can’t look too far ahead. Everything will take care of itself, in my opinion, if I concentrate on each day, on enjoying my time at camp, and on taking things week by week. Furthermore, I don’t believe there is much of a purpose to look that far into the future. I believe that if I take care of business each day, I’ll be in a terrific position at the conclusion of the season.”
