On Saturday, rookie Titans are expected to report for training camp, and the 2022 NFL Draft quarterback that Tennessee moved up for will be there by contract.
Third-round quarterback Malik Willis and the Titans have reached an agreement on a multi-year rookie deal, the organisation announced on Saturday. With the addition of Willis, the Titans’ entire nine-player draft class is now bound by a contract.
The Titans picked Willis with the 86th overall choice in the 2022 NFL Draft. In exchange for moving up four spots, they traded a fifth-round pick to choose the quarterback out of Liberty. Although Willis, widely regarded as the most physically talented quarterback in the class of ’22, was selected in the third round, he still has a lot of potential as a dual-threat player in the NFL. In this season, Willis completed 207 of 339 throws for 2,857 yards and 27 touchdowns.
