Wide receiver Travis Fulgham began a scorching four-game streak for the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5 of 2020, catching 27 passes for 378 yards and three touchdowns. The show seemed to appear out of nowhere. Fulgham joined the NFL as a sixth-round choice out of Old Dominion University, a school with a decade-old football program at the time, and failed to remain with the Detroit Lions or Green Bay Packers before joining the Philadelphia Eagles in August, the month before his apparent breakout season.

“All I can do is stick to my game and do what I’m supposed to do,” Fulgham explained. “I didn’t leave the house.” It’s exactly how the scenario turned out. But I haven’t left the house. My game is still up and running. If I want to, I can take over a game.” Fulgham does not have many pass-catchers with whom to compete. This indicates that he has a decent possibility of realizing his ambition.
