Betting Preview: Akron Zips vs. Miami (OH) RedHawks
Miami (OH) is heavily favored in this one and is currently giving up 30 points to Akron. If the Zips get ahead early on it would create a worthwhile betting scenario in-game. Vegas has placed the over/under (O/U) at 45 points.

The hapless Zips are down 11.7 units so far in 2019 and 0-10 against the spread (ATS). The team’s posted an O/U mark of 5-5.

Peter Hayes-Patrick (43 rushing yards on 13 attempts) led the running attack. Julian Hicks (seven receptions, 41 yards, one TD) and Jeremiah Knight (six catches, 121 yards) shared the receiving duties in the defeat.

We’re looking for the RedHawks to control tempo by feeding the ball-carriers early and often. Along with WR James Maye (282 receiving yards, one receiving TD this season), Jaylon Bester (352 rush yards, seven rush TDs) and Tyre Shelton (346 rush yards, one rush TD) have brought significant production to the RedHawks’ recent offensive gameplans.
These two programs met last year with the final outcome being a 41-17 victory for Miami (OH).
